javascript:void(0);for beginners the first thing you should do is find the right chucks for your self and may be not go straight for the hard wood try foam or if you are not happy may be try the hard wood  it is hard to find the right ones simply because there are so many of them ie foam expendables hard wood cord chain and so many more when you have the right ones start off with small simple tricks and do them over and over again until you are happy with your new tricks try and have at lest 4 or 5 tricks that you are happy with them and then try to make your new tricks all blend in to one combination  javascript:void(0);

Foam is bad idea. If you don't feel pain, you won't know what are you doing wrong. About the tricks: first should be bounces and passes, without them in future your freestyle will be boring. Next should be wristrolls. And at least aerials and more complicated tricks.

If you don't know anything about freestyling and chux, then foamie is not so bad idea.
But better start with light wood Wink Because if you start with heavy it will be the same, that happened to me  bleed

i disagree.
Foam is bad idea. If you don't feel pain, you won't know what are you doing wrong.

everything i ever learned was with foamies.
you learn the basic movments with foams. and then after you have the idea of it down. i move to PVC's so i can feel it out with some more weight and pain added. then i move to my heavy acryics or some oaks.

by now i'm not using the foamies at all, because im good enough that i dont need to anymore, but before i had a skill level...foams Ftw.

Without ALL of us together, we wouldn't be nearly as strong, or learn as much. But together, we change the history of everyone we meet. Together everyone has a huge impact.
