O.....M....FG....  Those are absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!  What is the blue wood(Real or dyed)?!  That gave me wood.  hide  Mad respect for your craftsmanship Ben!!!!  +KKKKKKKKKK
they are maple with a dye/stain
whoah whoah whoah sexy, sexy work my friend.
As someone who is just about to start experimenting with DIY projects, you have my upmost respect.
right now I have 6 pairs of sticks cut to size & ready for drilling.
Im considering investing in a dremmel for sanding the tops, do you have any good advice you can offer?

you might get a pm or 2 from me in the near future cuz like i said, im just starting to delve into the diy field as we speak, inquiries will most likely arise(as they already have), and who better to seek advise from than a master craftman such as yourself?

respectBig K and im very impressed with the octagons as well! 2 thumbs up
i use a table saw, a belt sander & hand carving tools. the dremmel will be very usefull to do the resess for the cord and all edge rounding too. start cheep and get better tools as your addiction grows! LOL!
Dude, sick. I love the blues and the reds, you have to be one of the best DIY'ers on the website, IMO. Have some K

To ninja, i would suggest using a dremell man, you dont really need to go all out and buy an expensive one though.

I've been learning how to use my dremell for the past couple months and it really is a handy tool when it comes to sanding down the top edges and the inside of your string holes.

Also good for carving designs and or embellishing.
thanks and i agree!
those blue sticks are SEXY!!  daah  whahaa daah

awesome work man  2 thumbs up
thanks man!!
very nice  bet they tooka  long time to make   good job  +K respect
thanks and i do a few at a time so there is less time in each one than if i did 1 at a time.
wow great work! they are beautiful  wink
thanks bro!

i have a set i'm making out of paduk that has the cross section of a heart for my daughter i'll post them when i'm done along with a few more.

I thought so, man that is so awesome.  I would love to make some dyed like that.  Gives them that exotic look that reminds me of sh*t like this(Wanted one for the last 7-8 years but the price is ungodly $$$):
