Lee Barden is a legendary nunchaku master. Spent his life with solid mastery to the art of nunchaku, he long founded "Prochux" and "Lissajous-Do" system, in nunchaku history. Today, he is battling with cancer and he will only live for few months. The medical expense is another part of his battle, from that part, we can help him and his family. For all the nunchaku artist around the world, I am requesting your conscience to support, by making a small nunchaku performance video (FB/Youtube/HelpSpread) using your Prochux, make hashtag #loveforleebarden , make donation and putting this link: https://www.gofundme.com/loveforleebarden - respect to our nunchaku parent.

The fund will be collected by his daughter Cassidy Lee

And last but most importantly, please include Lee Barden to your prayers.

I got a call from Lee. at the end of January and I called him in the middle of February, He sounded stronger than he did when he called me.We were making plans for him to come back out here.I had no idea he had passed. The world lost a great teacher, and I lost a good friend, R.I.P. Brother Lee

One of the first things that come to my mind when I look back at this site and my chucking days is Lee Barden. I'm sad that he's gone and I hope he's lived a fulfilling life. Rest in peace!

Lee Barden was born in Fort Myers, Florida during Hurricane Donna. When Barden was thirteen, he saw Enter the Dragon, starring martial arts actor Bruce Lee, which inspired his training in the martial arts. He built a homemade set of nunchaku out of a broomstick and a dog's collar. As a teenager, Barden began his martial arts studies at a local dojo.

We had a short conversation in Oktober last year and i am happy to told him that HE was the reason for me to start with nunchaku again.
He gave me a lot of ideas and a new understanding in the handles of nunchakus.
I am shocked and in my training I will keep him in good memory.
Thank you Lee Barden!
