What's up. My name's Sam and I have been fascinated with nunchaku for several years now. I have never made any efforts to master my collection, but I've been aching to pick up a new hobby, so it made sense!

One Question:
Is there a regulation style of nunchaku that is preferred for freestyling? I have a rattan, cheap foam, hardwood, and a lighter wood nunchaku. Any recommendations? Thanks!

welcome to the forum bro  2 thumbs up

There are 2 types of nunchaku that i used: 1 heavy(for muscle training/memory) and 1 light(for exploring difficult moves). i use normal wooden chux and A4 rolled paper tape-covered chux.
