When u chuck, with steel nunchucks, it gets a bit cold when u chuck with no shirt on.

Don't press your tongue against steel nunchaku if it's below freezing outside.  lmfao

When your learning spins/rolls, I find it easier if I mark/put tape around one of the chux.  This makes it easier to tell how many rotations you have done (i.e. 180 vs 360) and gives you a better understanding of the move.   thumbs-up

great tip! i hav done this with my 9 inch cord chux to see try and figure out just how many rotations i can get from wrist rolls. i dont remeber what i came up with, but i think at least 540 - 720 degrees. i am currently working on the infinited finger spin and i loose track of the rotations on those lol.

to expand on the tape marking tip, i find that having contrasting tape on where you hold the chux allows for superquick perfect placement when you are really going fast. with my tape marks on my current all purpose pair, i have marks showing me perfect hand placement for finger spin and wrist spin catches catches when i aerial, where to hold the chux for ohp's, passing grip, where to hold to do an opposite wrist spin. all this combined with aesthetic qualities. all total i have five strips of white tape on a black tape background. again, this can really help make split second decisions for where to have your hands when you are going fast.

To expand on this just a bit...

If you're performing for an audience with no nunchaku experience, having each stick look unique can make tricks much more impressive. The average spectator might not realize that you just flipped the nunchaku over the back of your hand, but if the color of the swinging stick changes, it's much easier to pick up on it.

They'll be like, "Omg, he waz just holdin da red stick, now hez holdin da blue stick! How he do dat?" cheesy

As a small challenge, chuck about arm's length from a wall and walk along it. This very much helps with camera and crowd presentation as well as messy footwork.
With the wall on one side it keeps your tricks focused on the open space, also it helps tighten up vertical planes for those who feel they need cleaning up.
The limited space pretty much helps you walk a straight line (or curvy, depends on what kinda wall,) and forces you to pivot when you're at the end of the line or you're looking to do something big and your chucks are just inches from the wall.

I might add + the thing about the steel rings are manipulating them into position etc.  Some nunchaku techniques can make them go into a constant oscillatory motion around the wrist, maintaining those positions can be a challenge for coordination exercises, all the while working out with weighted objects = coordination, endurance, strength, power and speed... and  Iron forearms  whahaa  However dit da jao maybe needed afterwards.
