Even if you try to speed up one move,you  will gain speed in other moves as well,at the moment I,m working on neckrolls,even in two sessions I gained speed.
Also weighttraining helps a lot,I have the following excercises:

1.Fingerstrength excercise:Fill a plastic bottle with rice and squeese as many times you can,at first you will tire your hand but after a while it will strenghten.

2.forearm:Take a flat bench,a dumbbell with a few pounds of weight,now put your arm with the wrist facing the ceiling,open air,don,t know where you will excercise :bigdance:tehn open your hand and let the weight roll into your fingers,this will strengthen your forearm

3.Another forearm excercise:Take a dumbell and place 3 pound on one side of the dumbell,put the empty side of the dumbell in your hand,kneel on your left knee,place the elbow of the hand your holding the dumbell on your knee and turn your wrist from left to right as many times you can,then change to the right hand.

4.Tricep and bicep excercises are wllknown I think,if not ask!!

5.Shoulder excercises are also ver important but also wellknown ,if not ask,I,ll be more than happy to help out.

I dont do any strength exercises, I personally think economy of motion is more important than power, you dont need to use much power if the technique is perfect and there is no unnecessary motion. Just short sharp precise bursts.. Also dont waste momentum, learn to understand the balance between moving the nunchaku and moving WITH the nunchaku.. Dont be tense, be relaxed and fluid and you will flow like water  turtle

I don't think we need exercice to work the speed;
speed is just the result of :"good technique (= good lines) and a good fluidity"
So if you work a lot your moves, you will become faster with no problem.

For me :
Technique => speed
Try to have speed before technique is an error.

I say that because some beginners asked me how to improve their speed on youtube by PM.
I hope you will understand what i want to say^^

I think when your body has strength you will be able to do your thing over a longer period of time,instead of a few minutes you can make moves over a longer period,your stamina will be bigger,technique is very important but so is your body, 2 thumbs up

ok a little off topic?
Cheesy

heres a tip..
when chucking with long chains and heavy sticks.. dont lower your wrist rolls towards your waist because you will indeed end up tapping your nuggets with your chux and you may think "nah I'm not that uncordinated" well thats what I thought.. emphasis on "Thought"

hints: if you get on trouble in aerials or whatever, catch the chux near the chain(or the chain itself) or just avoid hitting yourself to the ends of the chux. that way, the damage is minimized.

since I catch the chain alot, Sam's chain aerial recoveries are damn useful! and I'll try to develop chain work a bit more...

I wear good running shoes when I practice because of the danger of hitting your feet. ouch. and if you dont drop them once in a while maybe you need to push the envelop a bit more its ok to loose em just do it away from breakables. I am working on a video for protecting stuff it will be called velcro sticks when its done.
by the way I'm a new guy with 35 years of practicing with nunchaku and about a week learning how to make a video and trying to enter this world cup thing I am so excited. looking forward to posting. just not sure how

That was a totally sweet video russman. I have problems with rope chucks that are that long. I have very small hands for a dude. Smaller than most women. So i usually need a vey short chain

If you set yourself targets or practise sessions - stick to them! As soon as you break one, your mind will make it alright; and before you know it, you'll never practise.

Happened to me. :-/
