Well, Coheed and Cambria as they have some really bad ass epic songs. my practice sessions tend to be long so 8-10 minute songs are really cool
Prize Fighter Inferno, a rock electronica one man band (that one man is Claudio Sanchez from Coheed lol)
a local band called Merrick Diaries, a shoegaze metal electronica hybrid band. i actully spun glow chux at one of their shows. not on stage though.
Incubus has a nice flowing sound to em and when i practice i dont always chuck as fast as when i freestyle.
Front Line Assembly, techno. always cool.
thats about it. oh, a band from L.A. called Mankind is Obsolete came to spokane (which i guess they do quite frequently) and i saw them for the first time a couple nights ago. really good rock and awesome stage performance. my face was sufficiantly melted!  mosher (hmm no melted face smiley...)

I have a bit of stuff on my rotation right now.

Emancipator - Soon It Will Be Cold Enough - ambient trip-hop with great rhythm, highs and lows
Bloc Party - A Weekend in the City B-Sides (perhaps better than the actual album) - fast, upbeat indie stuff
Daft Punk - Alive 2007 - continuous live show, great for sweaty practice for an hour
Wintersleep - Welcome to the Night Sky - unique, soulful indie

Celine Dion's "my heart will go on" ~ kidding! ^^

If ever I did incorporate music, that would be RATM, Urbandub, At the drive-in, POT, nirvana(sorry kurt) or Incubus.. there's alot more.. more likely, something like drum and bass +rap or semi emo or techno-rock ~ with deep lyrics and compositions(coz I do see music in musician's view) :p
