The forum was around earlier in its earlier stages of existence I imagine, if I remember rightly the doubledna forum was a different format. I dont know if the database was imported when the forum was reborn in SMF.

I think the database was imported - because I joined the forum shortly before it moved to SMF, yet there's still many members registered in the database before me.
